Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2014
I made this recipe the other night and had company over. It was a great success! The men were licking their bowls! I made it on high for 6 hours, and didn't use quite as much onion. It was delicious and I will absolutely make it again.

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
Ok, not like this recipe needs any more reviews, lol, but I figure i'll throw in mine anyways. This recipe is FABULOUS! Amazing! Can't say enough good about it. I used two different types of prego that I had in the pantry, one was a 6 cheese and the other italian sausage. Both spaghetti sauces, which I was afraid would lend it too much of a "spaghetti" taste vs a lasagna taste, but NOPE, it was amazing. I added thin sliced zucchini because of my garden abundance and that was a great touch. Overall awesome recipe, we had dinner guests and they just wouldn't stop commenting about how awesome it was. Thanks for the recipe, i'll definitely be making it again, probably sooner rather than later since i've still got most of the ingredients!

Mom's Cucumbers

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2013
Figured I should come and give this a review since i've made it 3 or 4 times now. Each time, everyone gobbles it up and raves about it and asks for the recipe. I use a combo of armenian cucumbers and regular dark green ones, all from my garden, which is producing an abundance of cucumbers right now. Excellent recipe!

Zucchini Casserole II

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2013
Made this tonight and everyone, even the guy who doesn't like zucchini or onions, LOVED it! I made it in a 9x13 pan for 5 adults and didn't have any leftovers. Very good. I even forgot to put the butter in with the stuffing mix and thought it looked odd and dry, but it still came out amazing and it wasn't until after that I remembered the butter, lol.

Zucchini Puffs

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
Just made these and they are fabulous! I've read some complaints of too bland, everyone's tastes are different and I don't think any recipe should get less stars for seasonings alone. I put salt, pepper, dried onion flakes (cause I can't stand raw onion crunch and I was afraid they wouldn't get cooked enough), minced garlic, salt and pepper, just like the recipe calls for but to my own taste and they are delicious!! My only complaint is that I only used one zucchini and one yellow squash and I still have a kitchen FULL of the stuff!! LOL

Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2012
I just made this but halved it and did muffins instead. The only thing I did different was add some chocolate chips so that my kids would eat them, lol. They are DELICIOUS! I followed the recipe exactly, just adding the choc chips. Very very good and one I will use again for sure!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I have been making this often for a while now. The only thing I do is use miracle whip instead of mayo because the first time I did it I didn't have any mayo. It cuts down on calories using MW and you can't taste it at all. I add salt and pepper too. Wonderful!

Very good, I am out of flour so I used 1.5 tbsp cornstarch and it was perfect. I too added a little bit of milk for creaminess.

Amish Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
Made this tonight and the only alterations I made was that I used spaghetti noodles cause its all I had, and I used shredded cheese. It was amazing and would have been just as good weather I did those things or not. Very very good, not sure why it has lower ratings!

Bean Soup

This was awesome! I ended up adding a can of ckn broth for more liquid since some evaporated and it was excellent! I needed to use some leftover honey baked ham and this was perfect.
