Parsleyed Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
My husband can't get enough of this! He loves rice and the first time I prepared it he said, "Baby, this is the perfect type of rice." Ha...so easy!!

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
Definitely follow the recommendation to serve with brown sugar and butter. DELICIOUS! Also, I used butter as the grease for my pan. Pancakes fried up w/ crispy edges but still moist, and caky inside.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
Sooo good! Doubled the recipe and added some bacon bits and cheese to soup. Didn't double the salt because of this. Instead of adding more flour to thicken as others had suggested, I added a couple of tablespoons of instant mashed potato flakes. MmmMmm.

Pumpkin Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting (The World's Best!)

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
I agree with some of the other reviews that these are sort of bland. Will try adding a tsp of salt next time. And definitely need to bake for 14 min as suggested in other reviews.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2013
Very good cookies...did need to add a tsp of salt and some extra chocolate chips for my taste (used 1 bag for a Half recipe). What others mean by these having a cake-like texture is that they are lighter and airier than typical cookies. It's a nice change, but I think I prefer the typical density of a cookie. Easy recipe to half for a normal-sized batch of cookies (3 1/2 dozen with the pampered chef regular size cookie scoop). They are very good but not sure I'm ready to jump on the "best I've ever had" bandwagon. I still like my old tried and true recipe.

Herbed Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

This was fabulous! Subbed the cream cheese for Greek yogurt. Delicious! Husband raved. Had a 3 lb frozen bird...put on low for 8 hrs. Perfect.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2014
Fabulous! Exactly what I was looking for! Super soft and gooey. As with any cookie recipe that calls for butter as it's fat, be sure to refrigerate dough for at least an hour before baking and throughout the handling process. Followed recipe exactly...cookies are still soft and scrumptious 3 days later. Baked for 10 min in my oven and came out perfect.
