Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This recipe was outstanding. I didn't need to change a thing! I am going to make it again this weekend because after eating it, we want it again. I added more chicken stock as I went along because I wanted more of a sauce, but that was personal preference. yum yum!

Breaded Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
Two days after making this recipe, my boyfriend requested I make it again. The combination of cornflakes and ranch was so yummy. It created a soft breading underneath with crispy edges ontop. I made three chicken breasts in a glass pie dish. The chicken came out wonderful. I can't wait to make this again! I've already shared it with my other family members. The best part is, all the ingredients were already in the kitchen. Yum!

Cinnamon Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I love cinnamon and I love chicken, but these two things did not go well together in this recipe. I read the other reviews first and to compensate for it being dry I put a dallop of margerine and covered it in foil. Well the chicken came out tender and juicy, but the spices were so strong that I couldn't eat it. The blend was too many different flavors all at once. I feel bad giving any recipe such a bad rating, but I really couldn't eat this. I scraped off the seasonings and tried to salvage the chicken, but it was barely edible. I really wanted to like this recipe, but I am sad to say it wasn't something I will make again.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
If you don't LOVE the taste of Balsamic Vinegar then you probably won't like this recipe. I however, love it, and I really liked this recipe. The 'sauce' got really thick and dry before the chicken was done so I added more tomatoes and sauce from the can and a little bitter of water. The resulting sauce was delicious and the chicken came out great!

Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
I made this with bone-in pork chops. It was simple and easy. I am not a big pork eater, but my boyfriend ate three of the four and thought it was delicious. The apples and sauce were delicious. Four stars because the sauce was a bit watery. The pork chops were very juicy and tender because of the sauce however.

Country Style Barbecued Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
Since I only cooked this recipe for one, I was wondering if it would be worth the effort. It definately was! The sauce did taste a little too much like ketchup so I added one more tablespoon brown sugar and one-eighth teaspoon white sugar. It made it sweet and tangy! So delicous! The chicken cooked perfectly. I will definately be making this recipe for others! It's so simple too! I paired it with steamed broccoli and served ontop of brown rice. Yum!
