Beer Batter Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
These were not good, they were not crispy at all, the batter was thin. I used Heinekin light beer and I'm guessing that's what gave them a bad flavor. Waste of ingredients. Will not make again :(

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
This is the best ROAST BEEF you will ever eat, if you want POT ROAST make a POT ROAST, but please don't rate this fine recipe poorly because it isn't a recipe for something other than ROAST BEEF. That said, I bought a slightly larger than 3 pound roast, seasoned it and cooked it according to directions, yes this does make a rare roast beef, if that isn't your thing add 5 minutes per pound to the timing. I did add thinly sliced onions to the pan and on top of the roast prior to putting it in the oven just as a personal preference. Be sure to slice as thin as possible and serve with a light gravy, mashed potatoes and a vegetable of your choice.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This is a 5 star cookie recipe and the only one I will ever use. They are wonderfully fat and chewy! And just as good the next day (If they last that long!) One big thing to note here is this recipe requires NO refrigeration, if you are having a problem with the recipe, if your cookies are coming out flat odds are you are probably either using cheap/store brand butter or your baking soda needs to be replaced. Or worse yet you are substituting something else for the butter--like margerine or vegetable oil. Thank you for a fantastic recipe!

Sweet Maple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
I joined allrecipes just so I could rate this recipe and give credit to the person who suggested double dipping the chops in the oats. THE OATS DON'T FALL OFF it makes the coating nice and thick and really tasty! I now do this with everything I bread it's AWESOME for chicken cutlets!! So thanks for the recipe it's great--but even more thanks to LOVECED for her advice!
