Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2014
They taste great, but were extremely flat and ugly. I guess I should have read the reviews and added more flour. Lesson learned!

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2014
I reduced the oven temperature by 10 degrees and had to bake these for 16 minutes- and they still did not come out right it seems. They stayed in little balls, and even pressing down on them with a glass didn't make them spread hardly at all. They taste okay, but they aren't the big, fluffy snickerdoodles I'm used to.

Cookies for Rookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2014
I was looking for a recipe that did not require eggs, but used buttermilk (I have almost a whole jug from Thanksgiving), and these were okay. It took me longer than 10 minutes to make them, and I had to bake for probably 15 minutes or so. They are just... okay. That's what I get for running out of eggs!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2014
This tastes soooo good! And it was so easy, I didn't even mind the ugliness of it. It really didn't turn out pretty for me. The top puffed up a little and became like a candy shell, so when it sits out and when you slice it, it crumbles terribly. Otherwise, it tastes amazing. Not too chewy like some pecan pies can be. Great! Note: I did change baking time and temps. I baked for 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then for 50 minutes at 300 degrees.

Buttermilk Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2014
While this tasted amazing and came out looking very nice, this recipe makes way too much for a regular 9-inch pie shell. I wasted probably 3/4 of a cup. This must be a deep-dish recipe. If used with a deep-dish crust, this would turn out perfectly.

French Silk Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2014
This is the French Silk Pie recipe from Pillsbury. My whole family loved it for Thanksgiving! This filled a regular 9-inch pie shell very much, so it probably could work with a deep-dish shell (and it would look more put-together). Wonderful!

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
These are absolutely delightful! I just made these and made a whipped butter, coco powder, powdered sugar, and vanilla frosting, and they were sinfully good! The brownies came out soft, and oh so chewy. Best brownie recipe out there... And so easy!
