This recipe made my mother in law like me! I made a red velvet crust added a chocolate drizzle and sprinkled raspberries on top.

I followed all of the directions, but they came out hard as rocks, not sure what I did wrong, maybe too much flour?

Buttermilk Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
I halved this recipe and baked for only an hour. It turned out really great for my first pound cake and I'm really impressed. Next time I'd like to use real lemons over lemon extract and I'd like to use a taller pan, I used a small loaf pan. For those who say their cakes came out dense, use less 1tbs less flour and more egg yolks.

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

I agree with others, it is veeery messy to make, but well worth the mess. I used regular breadcrumbs, instead of Italian because they tasted better plain.

I used canned peaches, but I will use fresh ones next time! I also substituted the top for a crumble topping.

Easy Peach Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
Very good! It was my first time making it. I used a 9x6 pan and made 1/2 the amount of topping with a full can of peaches. I added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 cup of sugar to the peaches and let it set. This made a much richer filling! Next time I will make it with fresh peaches!
