Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
Pretty good with the suggestions of sour cream instead of Mayo and to mix the mozzarella cheese put into the dip instead of on top!

Gnocchi with Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2012
This was good, but in the future, instead of using fresh tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes would be a good substitution.

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
Very delicious, only a couple of changes. I used dried cranberries instead of raisins, I used red grapes instead of green, and I used gala apples instead of Granny Smith. I like my chicken salad sweet. The curry powder was a great addition!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
These were delicious. I followed the recipe ingredients wise, except for substituting an egg for the milk, then instead of baking them, I made the meatballs smaller, fried them to make them crispy on the outside, then simmered them in spaghetti sauce for a 1/2 hour to let them fully cook. Delicious!

Ho Ho Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
This is a delicious recipe. I almost followed the recipe exactly, except I added 1 tbsp of vanilla extract to the filling and I used a regular sized box of chocolate fudge cake mix. Finally, stand mixers are great to use with this recipe because the filling takes a long time to mix. You cannot go wrong with this cake!

Old Settlers' Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
I have made a similar baked beans dish for some time now. The only changes that I make is to not drain any of the beans, add an extra can of pork and beans, and also add a 1/2 cup of sugar (both regular and brown) instead of the 1/3 cup as the recipe indicates! Very delicious!

Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This was very delicious. The only changes I made were to add a bit more red wine vinegar to add more tang, I also added more celery and onions than the recipe calls for. Overall, a very tasty recipe

Apricot Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
This recipe was OK, but could be great with a few modifications. First, I cut the chicken into bite sized pieces. Also, I added red pepper flakes to add a bit of spice. Also, next time I will use more apricot preserves and double the sauce because there wasn't too much left after the chicken finished cooking, and it is nice to have some when serving with rice.

Sweet Garlic Tomato Beef Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
This is such a delicious recipe. I only make 2 small changes. First, I use small pasta shells instead of the larger. Second, I use a spicy ground sausage instead of ground beef, it gives the recipe a nice sweet and spicy taste. Excellent recipe!!

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
This recipe was delicious! The only changes I made was to add a packet of dry onion soup mix, like others have suggested, and then for the topping, I could not find pineapple preserves, so I used crushed pineapple and added some Tabasco sauce for a sweet and spicy mix , which still was delicious!

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
This chili was delicious! I gave it a three because of a few revisions. I added an extra can of beans (using chili beans because that is what I had) and smashed one can and drained the other and put the beans in whole. Also, I cut the amount of water in half to make the chili a little thicker. Finally, I added corn, which added a little sweetness to the spiciness of the chili!

Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
We loved this recipe! I didn't have white wine, so I used vinegar, which worked just fine. Also, I let the sauce reduce for about 10 minutes before adding the pork chops, which allowed the sauce to thicken up and more of the flavor to stick on the pork chop. These pork chops are AMAZING!!
