Beef Tip Salad Topping

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
This was really good and easy for a quick meal. Instead of topping a salad, I added it to baked potatoes. Add a side salad for a simple meal.

Pan-Seared Tilapia

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
Wonderful! This has a great taste and very easy to make. Before I added the butter I squeezed a lemon over the fish. I served on buns with homemade tarter sauce for a filet of fish sandwich. My mother was impressed (which is hard to do) and my picky eather gobbled it up.

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2010
Great tea! I've been making it for awhile now, it's better than tea from restaurants. Mix a 1/2 glass lemonade and the tea for a real treat!

Easy No Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
These are great! I've been looking for a no-bake without peanut butter because of a nut allergy. The sugar needs to be cut down alot and maybe add some cocoa powder to the sugar mixture if making with the chocolate pudding. I used Devil Food and will experiment with other puddings.

Chip Chicken Lollipops

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Love it! I was fun to make and very different. I added worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to egg and milk mixture, plus salt and peppered chicken. I used BBQ chips. There are countless ways you can make this recipe. Most important is to season your chicken. I followed anothers review by baking on wire racks on a cookie sheet so you don't have to turn after 10 minutes.

Quick Chinese-Style Vermicelli (Rice Noodles)

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Everyone liked these for our take-out night. It's very easy and my picky eater loved eating with chopsticks. I added garlic powder instead of fresh garlic and left out green onions(because of picky eater). I didn't measure the sauce ingredients just added to pan and it turned out perfect. I served Chip Chicken Lollipops also and it turned out to be a fun dinner.

Cinnamon Cream Syrup

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Absolutely the best syrup ever! This is the fourth syrup recipe I've tried and it's a keeper. I messed up a bit with measurements and added a cup of water and only 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and it turned out great, even before adding the evaporated milk. It isn't runny like most homemade syurps.

Wow! Great sloppy joes and they smell so good while cooking. I always use my mom's recipe but this one is just as good and different from any sloppy joe I've tried.

Stove Top Tamale Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
Great! It's our new favorite meal. It's quick and easy, you can change the meat mixture to your personal preference. I added garlic and minced onion to hamburger then added taco seasoning, kidney beans, water, diced salsa tomatoes. Then add cornbread mix.

Awesome! Great tasting (better than store bought) very easy and fun to make. I usually keep flour tortillas on hand but they go quickly around here so this recipe is a good help.

Great and easy for beginners! I did not add enough flour at first but after the dought rose I knew I had messed up and added a little flour at a time until a soft dough formed. Now I know the difference from batter and soft dough! I'll make again for Easter.

Snow on the Mountain Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
I didn't have fresh green beans so I used steam fresh in the microwave then put in skillet. I've never made good green beans but these were good with a different flavor. I will make again with the fresh green beans. N*R

It's very simple and good. I tried on a homemade biscuit and used a spiced coffee I was drinking. Will try with crepes.

Chicken and Lentils

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
Great! First time preparing and eating lentils. My family loved it, even my very picky 4 year old. I made it with cut up chicken breat and cooked it first then added it in with the lentils. I added more chicken broth and I forgot the lemon juice. We ate in tortilla shells. I will be making this again and trying new ways to serve it.
