Chicken Crunch

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
This is so good~ I cut the chicken breasts into strips. I crumbled the crackers, and added melted butter to the crackers, baked it as directed. I didn't double the sauce, that might be a good idea if you used more chicken. YUM.

This was OK - nothing to shout about. Very tender.

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
These are good cookies and bake up so nice. I used softened butter and room temp eggs as suggested by another reviewer. I used a Tablespoon cookie scoop and baked them for 12 minutes at 350. These cookies didn't run all over the pan like some do that are made with butter.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
Well, I thought this was great! I didn't have time to make it into a casserole, so I just made the sauce and put it over bow tie pasta.(cheese on top)I sauteed some red pepper and fresh mushrooms and threw them in, along with a little chicken broth because I had used leftover baked chicken. I love the lemon-curry flavor.

Cinnamon Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This is so very good! We took our ice, icecream freezer, and ingredients to the Cheyenne River on a 100 degree 4th of July and managed to make this. It was the biggest treat ever. I did add 2 cups of whole milk to the recipe and ut the cinnamon to 1/2 tsp. This is a keeper, the best ice cream recipe I have ever found.

Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
We had this for Sunday dinner, and my mother, age 85, (a good cook and stingy with the compliments) loved this recipe! That truly makes it a winner, if you know what I mean. Didn't change a thing.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
These are delightful! My granddaughter Timber and I made these - she is constantly looking for the perfect cookie. These were fun and very, very good. A festive cookie for Christmas. We did add 1/4 tsp of mint extract 'cos we like mint.

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This is by far the best recipe for banana bread that I have had, and I grew up on the stuff. I did what one reviewer said - add part brown sugar. I did add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup of chopped and drained maraschino cherries. The cherries really add something wonderful!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
Very good. I forgot the cheese and it was still good.(How I forgot the cheese is anybody's guess.) I did add a little nutmeg to the topping, and substituted seasoned croutons for the oatmeal. I made them in muffin tins.

Sour Cream Raisin Pie V

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
This pie is wonderful! I did not have enough sour cream, so I made up the difference with sweet cream - nice flavor. I also used 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. each cloves and nutmeg. I added 1/2 chopped pecans, as well. The meringue is the best I have ever made. I recomended this pie to a friend of mine that does professional baking. A keeper.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
Oh my, my, my this is a good recipe. Served the chops with white rice and double the sauce. Instead of putting the chops in the preheated oven, I just left them in the pan, and made the sauce around them. We will make these again~!

Amaretto Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
I was disappointed in this cake. It was very moist, but seemed to have no flavor. I thought it was a good waste of expensive Amaretto.

I have made this cake several times, and each time with rave reviews! It is moist with a wonderful flavor. I have made it even richer with a chocolate glaze. I take it to the office a lot, people think they are drinking on the job!

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
This was a great recipe! I used coconut cream pudding, pecans and cinnamon chips. What a wonderful combo - I took a plate to work, and the office staff said they were the best cookies they had ever eaten and requested the recipe. Thanks.
