About this Cook
I am pretty newly married so I have been learning to cook things that we both like. We are very busy so quick, fast and healthy meals work best.
My favorite things to cook
I am still learning so I tend to go for the easy ones that are hard to mess up! I also really love to bake, but my husband doesn't think its ok for us to eat dessert for dinner every day! Spoil Sport!
My cooking triumphs
I was in a cake decorating class for a while. That was so much fun! I was able to make some pretty creative cakes. I even made roses!
My cooking tragedies
When I first got a crock pot I was so excited to try it. The first thing I made was a roast and it turned out so well! I was excited to try something else so I made a stew a few days later. When I got home it had spilled all over the counter. I thought that was strange but there was still stew inside so we went ahead and ate it. When my husband went to wash the crock pot he started cracking up. He was like "Um honey? I think you forgot something when you made the stew." I had forgotten to put in the insert!! I had cooked the stew right in the heating element of the unit! I felt so stupid!

Delicious Mushroom Soup
This was very good. I didn't put in the carrots or celery but that was because I didn't have them. Other wise I followed it to a T and it turned out very good. If your sensative to salt make sure you use low sodium chicken broth and soy sauce.
