Southern Potato Salad

Good Recipe. I omitted the celery, used garlic powder and halved the mustard. The potatoes needed more cooking time and I also cut them in half.

Asian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 13, 2014
Delish! I did use chili-garlic sauce, used regular soy sauce, used canola oil and added ginger. I cooked it at 350 for 110 mins, I had a 2.8 tenderloin. I also marinated it for 3 days. This was so good, tender and the marinate is perfect.

Albondigas

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2014
Very Good Recipe but I must say I would have like it better with rice or noodles instead of the potatoes. Also taste the salsa before you put yours in mine was a little too hot even tho we bought medium. Other than that I did add some garlic, celery and spinach. I also like a soupier, soup so I added more water. Happy to have tried this and I would make again.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2014
I never knew that this cut of meat would work bec I usually use chuck roast for my Stroganoff. This cut of meat is less expensive and it did turn out very tender. I did make a few changes, added more garlic and worcestershire, used fresh mushrooms, used red wine, added a block of cream cheese and halfed the sour cream. 6 hours on low and it come out perfect. This is an impressive meal and would be good to make for company.

Pasta e Fagioli a la Chez Ivano

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
Delicious!! We loved this soup. I did make a few changes to use what we had on hand. For 1 lb. of ground beef I used a 14.5 oz can of crushed tomato and a tab of tomato paste, I had to use beef bouillon, red beans, added a jalapeno and some red pepper flakes for some heat, used Acini Di Pepe pasta and added a cup of chopped baby carrots. Than put some Parmesan cheese on top!

Would give it 4 1/2 stars. I cooked the bacon in the microwave for 1 min. Added a doll up of sour cream to spinach mixture and added an egg. I was happy with this recipe and looks very fancy on the plate.

Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potato Bake

Tasty! I pretty much followed the recipe except I used Sweet Italian sausage, used only chicken broth and added garlic. Mine also took way longer like 1hr and 20 mins. Thanks for the new sausage recipe!

Lasagna Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2013
I only used 1 jar of Alfredo sauce and 1 pint ricotta cheese. I used no boil lasagna noodles. Cooked chicken with garlic and Italian seasoning. Added a diced tomato. Added 2 eggs. I combined all the ingre. just leaving 2 cups of mozzarella and 1/2 of the Alfredo to put on the top. I would suggest adding a layer of tomato sauce as it was lacking a bit. Next time, I'm going to try broccoli, carrrots and chicken.

Taco Dip I

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
Good Recipe! I used a hand blender to mix the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. I also omitted the bell pepper. I think scallions and pickled jalapeño would also work on top.

This was so yummy and easy! To make this even easier I used Apple pie filling. Added some vanilla extract and cinnamon to the crumb mixture. It also needed more time about an hour. Make sure to get some Vanilla Ice cream!!

Used the suggestion of others and used brown sugar and added some vanilla. This tasted like rasin bread without the rasins. I think this would be better as a loaf.

Mock Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
Yum! I really liked this. I did add some garlic and some lemom juice. I omitted the green onion. I just didnt have any. I also used a blender, which did not work too well bec this is sortof thick so it had a hard time blending. I had this with some whole wheat crackers. Next time I'll try this with greek yogurt to make this super healthy.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2012
Excellent! I used ritz crackers and added some onion powder and italian seasoning. Used only 2 eggs. I also seared the pork chops which I think is key to lock in the juices. Cooked for 400 covered for 15mins and uncovered for 10. Did not use any butter, did not need it. Thanks for the recipe these chops where juicy and crispy.
