I'm a 26 year old mommy of 4, I have 1 son and 3 daughters. I was born and mostly raised in the States. When I as 12 my parents moved to South Africa, and when I was 13 I met the love of my life, only we didn't get together till I was 16 and married when I was 18, I love to cook good food for my family, It's important to me that meal times are spent as family time.

I am not picky, if it's good I'll love to cook it! I love to bake too!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love making pizza on Fridays and pancakes when it rains! And any day is a good day for brownies!
My cooking triumphs
I made the most delicious white chocolate with spiced pear Tiramisu trifle, It was awesome and intense!

Chocolate Mint Dessert Brownies
I made these brownies for a bake sale at my sons school. They flew! They are a real crowd pleaser, only I used mmmmm better brownies recipe as the brownies base and added the icing sugar and chocolate glaze to it. It was awsome!

Fried Pickles
When I saw this recipe the thought that crossed my mind was, How weird! But I was very curious about what it wouls taste like so I made them. And I was pleasantly surprised! They are so good. I did it for a womans night. We felt like real men, eating fried pickles and drinking beer! Haaha! It is worth a try and I will make this over and over!

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies
I have made these about 5 times in the last month, for different events, and everytime it's a huge hit! The last time I made them they only lasted 2 hours. I live in South Africa so I don't use nut's (they're pretty expensive). But I do tripple the recipe and they come out as these huge, clumpy, chewy and crunchy and sooooo satisfying brownies. They are so easy to make too, I either add a half a cup extra of cocoa or 2 teaspoons of instant coffee, it gives it a deeper flavour, I also Tried it with coffee and cinnamon and decreased the cocoa a bit, it's a whole new recipe but also mmmmmmmmmm, GOOD!
