Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
Delicious! Made these this morning with my dad, and the whole family loved them. We like more runny pancakes, so i added a little more milk, and about 1 tsp vanilla extract. Just like other readers said, the batter smelled like sugar cookie dough, but the pancakes tasted scrumptious! Not very fluffy, but the flavor was great.

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
Oh My God! These are the BEST snickerdoodles I have ever tasted, and I have tasted many, since snickerddodles are my favorite cookies. They come out of the oven with a beautiful cinnamon-sugar crust and are absolutely to die for fresh hot out of the oven. I made them for a friend as a birthday present, and they got rave reviews. Only thing i changed as to double the vanilla (always do) and cook for about 12-14 minutes at 375, not 400. THE BEST! thanks.

Janine's Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
Yummy taste, really delicious banana flavor and aroma while baking. But it took about 1/2 hour longer to bake than the recipe said, and it ended up with a dark brown crust while the inside was still mushy. I turned down the oven like it suggested, but it didn't help. It ended up pretty brown everywhere except the center.

Mom's Sushi Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
Absolutely delicious! I love this in sushi or simply by itself. Easy to make also. * may take more than 3-4 washes for rice water to turn up clear

Whole Wheat Snickerdoodles I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
Delicious! Everyone had several and asked for the recipe. I doubled the cinnamon and vanilla, and added the white sugar and cinnamon straight to the batter, not on top. Makes a light and healthy cookie that would be great for breakfast or any time.

Good side dish, I used pecans instead and it turned out just fine. Lacking a little something, but still yummy.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
Absolutely delicious! The pork was very tender and flavorful. Almost an Asian-inspired dish because of the soy sauce. It took virtually no work, just put into the marinade and let it soak, then bake. Will make again and again.
