Sweet and Sour Chicken III

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
This is a spectacular recipe that can be made as-is. It made 4 perfect portions and tasted... amazing. I was super impressed. I would expect to get something like this at a restaurant. I will, without a doubt, be making this again.

Triple-Layer Peanut Butter Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
This tasted great! I used the "Best Brownies" recipe from this site instead of the brownie mix. I didn't have the vanilla pudding, but I compensated by increasing the milk, powdered sugar and peanut butter-- it still worked well. I was extremely nervous about not thawing the Cool Whip because I know the disaster it can turn in to-- don't worry, it actually works out really well. Finally, I didn't have Baker's brand chocolate, but I used 6 Hershey's snack sized chocolate bars. Also heated it 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Overall, this is a great recipe-- I took it to a party and they were completely gone by the end of the night. I will make this again.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
These tasted good and I was impressed with the overall "healthiness" factor. What I was disappointed in was the consistency of the muffins-- I think you add too much liquid to the batter. Next time I might consider adding less milk.

My husband said it was edible and my picky two year old actually ate 2 cucumbers. I'd never make this again.

It was good but nothing to write home about. I felt like it was missing something.

Yummy Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
This was great and very simple to make. I modified it by omitting the flour and olive oil (substituted a little bit of Pam cooking spray) and adding garlic and the onion when cooking the cube steak. After the meat was browned I put everything else plus some garlic powder in a slow cooker for a couple of hours. When I came home, I added the zucchini and cooked some whole wheat rotini to serve it over. This was delicious, simple and healthy. 5 stars.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
My family loved this. Make sure you follow the directions exactly. Has a whipped flavor, not dense at all. 1 hour in the oven is perfect. No cracking.

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

In addition to this being the easiest teryaki recipe, it is also the worst. I couldn't even doctor it. The cinnamon is what kills it.

I make this all the time. My husband and my son love them! Instead of the evap milk, I use regular milk and I don't bother with the honey butter.

This was so elegant at Christmas. Even my mother in law complemented it. Very, very good. I suggest using more lady fingers than the recipe calls for.
