Saltine Toffee Cookies
I love this recipe. It is so inexpensive and addictive! The only problem I have is that in the few times I've made this, about half the time everything comes out great, easy to remove from my stoneware bar pan, and the other half of the time it seems a bit burnt and very hard to chisel out of the pan. Today I didn't stir the butter/sugar mixture as it boiled as the recipe says to do, and I got the almost burnt, stuck on version. Last week I did stir the butter/sugar, and everything came out great. Not sure if this is the reason for the difference in results, or if something is wrong with my oven. This won't stop me from making these and trying to figure it out!
