Spanish Flan

This was my first time cooking flan ever. The ingredients in this recipe are perfect. I added 1/4 tsp of almond extract to infuse the flavor. The only MUST is to cook this in a warm water bath like others have said. Place your dish inside of a roasting pan, fill with HOT tap water to half way up the side of the dish. This made the flan velvety smooth with NO cracks. I'm not sure if this was the reason, but my cooking time was 2 hours, not 60 min. I also did as others recommend, to pre-heat the dish so that the caramel can smoothly cover the dish when you pour it in. This dish was a big hit and was completely gone at the end of the party. Will definitely make again!

Classic Waffles

This is a good base. I topped with fresh fruit and yogurt. I think it is a little bland and needs some flavor.. cinnamon or something...

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Excellent. I used frozen spinach as it's already cut and easier. I agree with another reviewer to mix in the mozzarella cheese but still on top. I served with New York Style Pita Chips - Sea Salt flavor - YUM!!!!!! This one is hard coded to my recipe box.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Wow, this salad is DELICIOUS!! I didn't have the cider vinegar or the white wine vinegar... so had to sub with red wine... it worked out ok too. One thing I did to put a spin on it was to toast the almonds in a brown sugar and cinnamon mix. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
