Just like I remember from childhood. I brought these to a party and they were gobbled up.

Easiest Focaccia Recipe

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
I have tried a few Focaccia recipes on this site and this is the best so far. The directions are clear and easy to follow, and the texture of the bread is just right.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
This bread is delicious and so moist. Just the right amount of sweetness and the walnuts make it extra nice. Great recipe! As a side note, I've made this twice now and the second time I did not dust the pans with cinnamon-sugar. I didn't think the extra sugar was necessary so I used a paper pan liner instead and it was fine.

Lavender Tea Bread

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
This unique bread was moist and sweet with a delicate taste of lavender. It seems more like cake than bread to me, but delicious either way and very easy to make. I steeped my chopped lavender leaves in the milk for about 20 minutes, then strained the milk and used it (without the leaves) in the recipe and this seemed to work very well.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
These were excellent! Very easy to prepare and extremely tasty. I used frozen Brussels sprouts and they did just fine. I parboiled them first like one reviewer suggested, which decreased the roasting time. I will be making these regularly from now on.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
I've made these cookies a few times, and they are delicious. The first time I made them they came out very flat so I added half a cup of flour and half a teaspoon of baking soda next time and that solved the problem. Once I didn't have any molasses, so I substituted Golden syrup and they came out more like a spiced sugar cookie, which was very nice. The golden syrup version is very good with lemon frosting made of margarine, powdered sugar and lemon juice.
