Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
As TV Chef Micheal Smith says, "a recipe is just words on paper." I agree; that being said, I made this for two and changed the water into red wine (not as in the Bible), used Balsamic in place of the white vinegar, and added green onion and green chillies. Served over rice. 10 stars

Living on the Fraser river I'm always looking for new way to do Salmon, This rates 10 stars!!! This one will be done again . Only things I did different was Chicken broth for rice and white wine to cover bottom of oven pan. Also rice took longer than 20 minutes to pre cook.

great! Make personal ones by cutting sheet of puff pastry into forths. Layied asparagus on bottom sheet covered with musrooms that had been pre cooked in butter, added sauce and covered with other half of sheets. Poured rest of sauce over packets at serving

Campfire Foil Onion

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
I've made these for years, I leave skin on ,make cuts almost to root sprinkle with parm chesse. Skins keep onion from burning when buired in coals and peel right off when cooked. Try different herbs over them also

Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
I don't know what recipe all tghe revuiers used to give it 4 or 5 stars but it wasn't this one. The only two that hit it were Vurtualelse and Susan.B Very bland and no where near enough liquid. I used a good dark wild honey ( very sweet) and the dark brown sugar no where near enough sweetener. Thank God I have Plenty of sweet Jam & Jellys :)

Washington State Apple Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
5 stars and only madse a couple of changes, added 2 tbs sifted flour to apples just before I took off heat and lightly sprinkeled flour on bottom crust before filling ( keeps it from getting soggy)scattered a little butter on filling before top crust, this also helps it from being too liquidy

Miracle Baking Powder Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
another old dog learning a new trick. Best pie crest I've made. My ex mother- inlaw(#3) always said I made flakey pie crust but they were never like this. One point, let warm up out of fridge before you roll out. If too cold very hard to get thin enough. I take leftover dough rolled out soread with butter sprinkel with Cinn/sugerroll and form cresent bake with pie untill brown, slice serve with ICECOLD milk. Like it better than the pie sometimes
