Great recipe, Only thing I did defferent was used salt pork instead of bacon, Don't use any salt with that change

Asparagus and Mushroom Puff Pastry Pie

great! Make personal ones by cutting sheet of puff pastry into forths. Layied asparagus on bottom sheet covered with musrooms that had been pre cooked in butter, added sauce and covered with other half of sheets. Poured rest of sauce over packets at serving

I didn't change anything. "Yah right" The only thing I changed was used three blend of cheese Parm, Ramano. astiago. Served with spinich, and potatoe salad was great

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Mashed Potato Cakes

Made with 1/2 onion and 2 green onion, cilantro and chopped bacon, also fried in bacon fat ( the only way to fry potatoes) Were great, will watch fat intake the rest of weekend.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Back to old way of cooking Corned beef. Came out dry (How?)and bland? I put it in bottom and used all spice pack. Cooked 9 hrs on low after 1/2 on hi to get it going. Cooked carrots, potatoes & onion ( along with two sticks celery)with it and they came out ok, carrots had a different flavour but were ok, steamed cabbage at time to serve. Leftovers were good in a baked hash

Teriyaki Tuna

Never I said Never add salt to soy or teriyaki sauce, fisf would have been 5 star but way tooo salty. Only thing I changed was to add orange zest to it

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

rated 5 because you don't have anything higher. Great and easy only two changes made. changed water into white wine and add mushrooms last 5 min or so. Used cover with vent,done perfect after 20min.next time will add sliced apple on top of chops with onions

Portobello Lemon Chicken

Great chicken, Used chicken thighs cut to one lemon and shaved the zest before squzing the juce, lemon pepper, season salt and garlic salt. EVOO on chicken before spices, 1 hr 350

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Tried this after reading all the rave reviews, Was not as good as expected. Used 8lb capon for Christmas dinner,took longer to reach 180 internal temp. Breast was slightly dry, other wise ok not as good as all reviews had me exptcing, even after basting very often inside and out.

True Lancashire Hot Pot

3 1/2 but my fault, added fresh slised portabella mushrooms, turned gravy too liquid. Other than that was ok. Will try again with precooked mushrooms ( got to have them) maybe top with crumbs

Baked Salmon I

Living on the Fraser river I'm always looking for new way to do Salmon, This rates 10 stars!!! This one will be done again . Only things I did different was Chicken broth for rice and white wine to cover bottom of oven pan. Also rice took longer than 20 minutes to pre cook.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

I used a 5 1/2 lb fully cooked picnic ham, used fresh grated nutmeg ( I was born in CONN.) added a couple handfuls of mixed rasins, a seperated mandrin instead of o-peel. Was GRRRATE. next time might try dried fruit Ed

Molasses Baked Chicken

I normaly don't follow a recipe exactly, I did this one.Cooked to internal 175 let rest covered 15 minutes. Very moist, flavourful. Will try again with garlic under skin and onion, garlic, celery in cavity

Pumpkin Pancakes

Having a 100lb pumpkin to use up I tried this recipe, normaly I don't follow to the "T" this one I did. Had a little taste I couldn't figure out. Maybe a little like Gingerbread? Will make again with vanila and nutmeg added and drop the vinagar

Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms

Campfire Foil Onion

I've made these for years, I leave skin on ,make cuts almost to root sprinkle with parm chesse. Skins keep onion from burning when buired in coals and peel right off when cooked. Try different herbs over them also

Glazed Corned Beef

covered top of meat with packet of spices that came with meat & Added one onion quatered at begining 6 medium potatoes & chunked rutabaga after first houh and a half. Didn;t drain water just removed lid after 2 1/2 hours ( water cooked down and vegs stayed moist) and glazed off and on for next hour. Will add mustard next to glaze next time and increase to 2 or 3 oninn
