Crustless Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
Great but the name has been changed to protect the inocent. The only thing pie like is it is baked in pie plate. This is a great cake and as such has many ways to change from the basic recipe, I will make this again many times but most likley a little different each time, Different nuts , flavouring, and some suprize ingreadents. Thanks for the great recipe and the best recipe web site on the internet. I like the update also

Apple Crisp IV

well 475 people can't be wrong, It was great I did add cranberrys which I'm sure didn't change the fact it is a goooood recipe for apple crisp. Next time I will not use granny smith, something little sweeter and softer maybe and use quick oats but as written is great

Washington State Apple Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
5 stars and only madse a couple of changes, added 2 tbs sifted flour to apples just before I took off heat and lightly sprinkeled flour on bottom crust before filling ( keeps it from getting soggy)scattered a little butter on filling before top crust, this also helps it from being too liquidy

Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
I don't know what recipe all tghe revuiers used to give it 4 or 5 stars but it wasn't this one. The only two that hit it were Vurtualelse and Susan.B Very bland and no where near enough liquid. I used a good dark wild honey ( very sweet) and the dark brown sugar no where near enough sweetener. Thank God I have Plenty of sweet Jam & Jellys :)

Miracle Baking Powder Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
another old dog learning a new trick. Best pie crest I've made. My ex mother- inlaw(#3) always said I made flakey pie crust but they were never like this. One point, let warm up out of fridge before you roll out. If too cold very hard to get thin enough. I take leftover dough rolled out soread with butter sprinkel with Cinn/sugerroll and form cresent bake with pie untill brown, slice serve with ICECOLD milk. Like it better than the pie sometimes

Made these for a Birthday BBQ, used salt pork instead of beacon. Should have left out salt , cut it to 1/2ts. came out a little salty. Cooked 45 min with a potatoe to remove salt and turned out great but still a little on salty side. No on seamed to notice, all gone many came back for seconds.
