FLAVOR WAS AWESOME!! MY FISH TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!!! MY ONLY ISSUE WAS I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH. I HAD 2 PIECES OF FISH AND 1 BONELESS SKINLESS BREAST (VERY GOOD ALSO BY THE WAY) AND I HAD TO MAKE MORE TO GET IT ON THEM.. BUT MAYBE MY MISTAKE IS I PUT FISH IN IT AND DID NOT "BRUSH" ON AS DIRECTION STATES.. ANYWAY.. VERY GOOD.. WE WILL MOST DEF EAT AGAIN!!!

Stuffed Green Pepper Cups

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
VERY QUICK, EASY.. USED BROWN RICE.. ADDED GARLIC.. LITTLE MOZZARELLA ON TOP.. VERY TASTEY.. HEALTHY- HUSBAND LOVED IT- HE HATES "COOKED" BELL PEPPER- THIS ALLOWS YOU TO ONLY COOK IT TO A CERTAIN DEGREE- IN FACT, MICROWAVING FOR 6 MINS. WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH- LEAVING BELL PEPPER WITH A CERTAIN CRUNCH ( HE LOVES IT RAW, GO FIGURE)- VERY GOOD, LIKE I SAID QUICK MID-WEEK MEAL SERVED WITH STEAMED VEGGIES..

NEXT NIGHT , TOOK OUT ROAST BEEF AND SLICED VERY THIN ( YOU CAN DO THAT EASIER OUT OF THE FRIG)- WARMED IN A LITTLE OF THE JUS, (ALSO LETS YOU REMOVE FAT OFF TOP OF JUS WHEN COLD)- SERVED ON BUTTERED WARMED ROLLS FROM THE PUBLIX BAKERY WITH SMOKED PROVOLONE AND JUS ON SIDE... YUM.... I THOUGHT IT NEED SALT AT SERVING (YEAH, I KNOW, LOOK AT THAT SODIUM CONTENT ON THAT CAN!! ) YEAH, WHATEVER - I ADDED A LITTLE GARLIC SALT ON MINE... VERY EASY, VERY GOOD.. THANKS

Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
This was good. I made to the recipe-- after reading other reviews- i cooked for 10 hours and then left lid off for 2 hours- i still had to drain some juice off my beef to make it thicker- flavor was good- I think next time I will cook my roast in crock-pot- remove, shred, add the sauce- I liked the sauce.

Pink Lemonade Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
JUST WAY TOO EASY!!!! YUMMY TOO!!!! My publix did not have or was out of pink lemonade- I ended up with limeade- after reading reviews regarding this pie not setting up I used a small pack of sugar-free lemon jello. Add 1/4 cup hot water to 1 pack of jello- stir to disolve and add to your mix- pie sets up like a champ- cream cheese will work too- but this was easier to mix and i was feeding it to people who are counting calories and sugar-free jello adds nothing-

DEFINITELY A HUSBAND PLEASER- I WAS OUT OF CHILI POWDER (JUST NEVER HAPPENS), SO I USED "CAVENDERS" (LOVE THAT STUFF)- PEOPLE HAD SOME HARD TIME KEEPING CRACKERS ON "STEAK", SO I DID WHAT MY FRIEND DOES WHEN SHE MAKES HER CFS- DIP PATTY IN FLOUR, DIP IN EGG WASH, DIP IN CRACKERS- OH, AND I BAKED THESE!! SPRAYED MY PAN AND THEN SPRAYED MY STEAKS, 350 TIL DONE, I PUT ON BROILER LAST COUPLE MINUTES AND MY STEAK WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!- SERVED WITH "MUSHY PEAS I" AND MASHED POTATOES WITH PEPPER COUNTRY GRAVY... YUM... HUSBAND LOVEDDDD IT!!!

Simple Roasted Chickpea Snack

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
I followed recipe exact. not sure what I expected. I read all the reviews. This was not to my liking. I love chickpeas and have decided to leave them alone. Some were krispy, some were not- I stirred them along the way, though. They turned out kinda dry and chewy in the center. Flavor tasted better before they were roasted.

Summer Squash Casserole

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
I THINK SALTINES ARE ALWAYS BETTER!! THIS RECIPE HAS THE RIGHT RATIOS NOT TO BE TOO CUSTARDY. I DID USE 2 CUPS OF CHEESE (WHOLE BAG). ONE OTHER CHANGE, NOT TO IMPROVE RECIPE BUT COZ MY SQUASH HAD BEEN COOKED PREVIOUSLY. I HAD 2 SLICES OF BACON LEFT AND I CHOPPED THEM FINE AND SAUTEED ONIONS IN THAT, AND ADDED DRAINED, DRY, COLD SQUASH TO THEM AFTER ONIONS AND BACON WERE DONE.. TASTED GREAT.. WHEN DOES BACON NOT TASTE GREAT.. MY HUSBAND EVEN ATE THIS CASSEROLE AND HE HATEESSSSS SQUASH.. HE KEPT ASAKING ME "ISN'T THIS SQUASH CASSEROLE?", NO BABY, THERES NO SQUASH IN THERE, PROMISE!! OF COURSE ITS PRETTY OBVIOUS WHAT IT IS, BUT HE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT COZ IT TASTED GOOD... THANKS KATY!!!
