Meatball Nirvana

Yum! I made these for a meatball sandwich & they were delicious! I decreased the red pepper flakes a tad, as my husband has a hard time with spicy, and just added a few dashes of Rooster hot sauce which I think you find in the asian foods aisle. We both LOVED them! Thank you! Also so easy to make! (I use a icecream scooper for ease in putting them on the pan)

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

This just might be the best dish I've ever made! Next time I will for sure pair it with asparagus & drizzle the white wine sauce over that as well. I followed the recipe word for word except I used italian breadcrumbs to bread it and I added paprika to the crumbs before coating the chicken.

Mom's Country Gravy

I followed precisely and thought the flavor was awful! It tasted like animal fat to me. After reading reviews I see some people used butter instead of oil, and that would probably make it much better. I would not reccommend using oil!!!

Grilled Rock Lobster Tails

Delicious! My first time cooking lobstor at home, and will definately use this recipe again & again! Didn't need the whole marinade though, so will probably cut the recipe in half. I don't think we cooked it long enough either, but it was still great.

Grilled Halibut Steaks

Was good, but didn't taste the marinade too much. We used tilapia. I'm not a big fish eater, and have recently been broadening my horizons. Will cook again.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Best Shrimp my boyfriend & I've ever had at home! I didn't have cayenne pepper so used a little cajun spice as a subsitute, but didn't even taste it in the finished product. I used more fresh basil & garlic than called for. Will cook this over & over!

Tasty Meat Pie

My boyfriend requested Meat Pie, and I am so glad I found this recipe! I had enough to fill 2 pie shells and gave the extra to my boyfriends dad. The dad immediately called us with compliments. The other was eaten with my parents & they absolutely adored it as well! Huge hit, Yum!

Margaritas

My fiance and I adore this recipe! I make it just as posted, but at grand marnier to make it a cadillac margarita. It's my #1 at home margarita now, and I'll never use the store bought mix again!

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

This was the first time I've ever made pumkin pie. Growing up my mom always made fresh pumkin pie. Her and my dad hate canned or store bought pumkin pie due to what they say is "overspicing". I tend to agree. This pie turned out absolutely perfect! I did use another persons advice and I pureed the mix in a blender once I had already combined it all, which I believe is what made my pie not lumpy. Also putting tin foil on the pie crust is a must! The recipe made 2 pies for me....
