Herb Roasted Pork Loin and Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
Delicious! My roast was 2 lbs. so I followed another reviewers suggestion and changed the time to 20/50 in order for the vegetables to cook thoroughly (I added baby carrots to the potatoes). My whole family enjoyed this meal!

Quick Chick!

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2007
Quick, easy and delicious! The whole family loved this and I loved the fact there was hardly any preparation. I put the chicken breasts in straight from the freezer and cooked them on high for 4 hours. Very tender and flavorful!

Lemon Pepper Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2004
This is a good light side dish for summer. I halved the recipe and I think it could have used more of the lemon pepper sauce. Next time I will make the full recipe of sauce for 4 oz. of pasta.

Cassie's Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2005
My daughter and I enjoyed this recipe...although it really is more of a cake than a brownie. My husband and other two daughters turned their noses up at this because it wasn't sweet enough for them. Next time I will take other reviewers' suggestions and add chocolate chips or frosting to sweeten it up, athough I prefer it as is.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2006
I made this with ground chicken and it turned out great. Although my husband and I prefer more spice, this was the right amount to please our kids. This is a keeper in our family!

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
I followed the recipe as stated and the taste of shortening was overpowering. We threw it out. Next time I'll try again and substitute butter. *** I'm changing my rating to 4 stars because I made this again with butter and it's fabulous! Don't use shortening!

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
This recipe was very easy but tasted just ok. I made some changes per other reviewers: I added an envelope of french onion soup mix instead of the raw onion, and I used cream of mushroom soup instead of the cream of chicken because that's what I had on hand. I worried it would be too salty so I added a little milk. It tasted mostly like onion soup mix but I have to say my three children ate it without complaint (which rarely happens)! I think I will try this again and stick to the original recipe.

This recipe is freaking fabulous!!! I've used both the dry rub suggested in the comments and bottled bbq sauce. Both are awesome! You simply must try this recipe!

Topless Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
Fabulous! I used fresh blueberries and brought the pie to a family bbq. It was a huge hit and everyone wanted the recipe. The only change I made was per another reviewer: I used 1/4 cup lemon juice and 3/4 cup water. You MUST try this!!!

Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
I made this and my guests and family agreed it there is far too much Cool Whip. Even my kids complained it was too rich (and that never happens)! I think it will be better with half the Cool Whip...I will try it again and omit the top layer.

Pork Chop Suey

This was very good! It's easy to substitute whatever veggies your family likes. I left out the mushrooms and added baby corn and bean sprouts. Served with chow mein noodles.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
This was so easy and delicious! I followed other reviewers' advice and added sliced onion, celery, and baby carrots to the bottom of the crock pot before putting the turkey in. I also added 1/4 cup water, but it wasn't necessary. There was plenty of juice. I used store brand onion soup mix and a turkey breast with a pop up timer. It was close to 7 lbs. and it was done after 1 hr. on high and 5 hrs. on low. I let it cook another 1/2 hr. just in case. The turkey was so moist and delicious, the whole family loved it! The leftovers are awesome too!

Scalloped Potatoes 'n' Franks

It's hard to find a recipe that pleases the whole family and this is one of them! I used cheddar cheese instead of swiss because that's what I had. I'll definitely make this again.

Chicken Kisses

I made this for a recent camping trip and everyone loved it! My kids don't like bbq sauce so I used Italian salad dressing instead for theirs. We also used pineapple and it was a big hit. Thanks for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2011
This was very easy and tasty! I left out the orange juice (personal taste) and used a bone-in turkey breast. It was done after 4 hours on high. The leftovers make great sandwiches :)
