Had some cold leftover rice... wondering what to do with it. I know I'll make mom some rice pudding. Excellent recipe thanks, Mom said this is the best she can remember. I did add a dash cinn & nutmeg.

Mexican Rice II

First of all I must admit that I'm a rice addict. I love ALL rice. This rice was good and went well with our mexican dinner. The next day with the left overs, I added chorizo sausage, green onions, red & green peppers and minced garlic.warmed it all up and added mexican cheese on top. Two different meals. Thanks

Apple Peanut Spinach Salad

Wow! This sounded so good I had to try it. I had a bag of spinach and was wondering what to do with it. I didn't have any "chutney". but I added walnuts, yellow raisins & cranberries. The dressing is very tasty and so quick and easy to make. To my testing bowl I added feta cheese,which only made it better if that is possible. I'm making this for dinner tonight to go alone with Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast also from this site. Gee, I sure hope there is some salad left when it is dinner time! :)

Filipino Lumpia

These were good however they needed more flavor in the meat. I added sesame oil, oyster sauce, minced ginger root, some red pepper flakes & chopped cilantro to the meat mixture after it cooled. Made 25 lumpia and all were eaten. Used sweet chile dipping sauce.

Sloppy Joes II

These were fantastic with a great taste. My huband even bragged about these sloppy joes to his co-workers,wow! Better tasting than any I have ever had. Could be a bit sweet so watch the brown sugar. THANKS:)

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Made these last night with 2 yellow,2 red,2 orange and 2 green peppers. Doubled the recipes for 8 large peppers, worked out fine. Did not use tomatoe soup instead using tomatoe sauce. Everyone loved them. Will be making more and frezzing then for a busy day. Thanks for the recipe :)

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Quick & Easy. Perfect for a busy day. Very tasteful. I followed the recipe except I rubbed garlic, salt & pepper onto the pork before placing into the crockpot. Served with Instant Sweet potatoes and steamed green beans. Excellent :) Thanks!

Naan

I followed the recipe but used only 4 cups of flour. Didn't want to fire up the grill(11pm) nor use a skillet, so I turned my gas stove burner on low and cooked it over the open fire,turning 1/4 turns until brown on one side then cooked the other side. Had it with Indian Curry...Excellent!

Dave's Low Country Boil

Excellent!! I added potatoes, crab legs,shrimp, smoked saugage, corn cobs,hard bolied eggs,& more spices. Boiled it all in one pot. We loved it & everyone went back for seconds.
