Brown Rice Bread

Zwieback Rolls

Zwieback rolls are delicious, and I would definitely recommend that you try this recipe. I added some powdered peanut butter to it for fun.

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

Wow this was a good cookie!!! I used 1/4 cup of maple syrup instead of 2 tbsps, and I used a mixture of white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the maple sugar mix since I didn't have any maple sugar. This cookie is so delicious!!! I'll definitely make it again.

Accordion Rye Rolls

It took me a while to remember what an accordion looks like and to understand how exactly to fold the dough, but once I did, making the bread rolls was just as fun as eating them! I made twenty-seven small rolls from this recipe. Next time I'll make larger ones. I used whole wheat flour in place of the all-purpose and decreased that by half a cup. Then I added a quarter cup of wheat gluten to help it rise better. And I substituted yogurt for the butter. I never liked rye bread all that much, but this recipe was really good.

These bread rolls were fantastic!! I used whole wheat flour and decreased the flour by a quarter cup. I made the dough by hand and it didn't get sticky at all.

This is a delicious cookie! To make them healthier, I substituted yogurt for half of the butter and used whole wheat flour. I also only used bittersweet chocolate chips because those were the only kind I had. This is a really rich, really good cookie. I brought them to a party and everyone loved them.

Orange Pumpkin Loaf

This bread smells really good!!! I took off one star because I didn't really like having the orange in there. I was hoping the texture would be more bread-like. It's just a little too fudge-like for me.

Cottage Cheese Bread II

Great bread!!! The texture is definitely different, almost chewy. You can't really taste the cottage cheese, but its texture is there. To make it a little healthier, I used white whole wheat flour and added 1/4 cup of gluten. I also substituted yogurt for the oil. I'll definitely make this again, especially since there's still cottage cheese in the refrigerator!

Volcano Pancake

This was a really tasty "pancake." It didn't really rise much, but then again I omitted the butter completely. That might be why. To make it healthier, I substituted whole wheat flour, twelve egg whites instead of the whole eggs, and seltzer for the milk. I also used fat free cheddar cheese.

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Bread

This was a nice, mild bread. It didn't have a strong pumpkin taste, or a strong peanut butter taste for that matter. Still I thought it was pretty tasty. I substituted yogurt for oil and decreased the sugar to 2 cups.

Ibby's Pumpkin Mushroom Stuffing

This is an okay stuffing. I didn't really think the mushroom and pumpkin went all that well together, but this recipe is still worth a try. It's definitely interesting and different from the normal stuffing.

These were really good. To make them healthier, I used a cup of yogurt instead of the butter, whole wheat flour, and 1/2 cup of honey instead of all of that sugar. And it was sweet enough!

Healthier Graham Cracker Crust

Mock Oatmeal

I tried this recipe because I had some leftover ricotta cheese, and because I was plain curious. I have to say, it does not taste like oatmeal, even after lots and lots of cinnamon. I'm giving it four stars anyway because it doesn't taste bad and I think it is worth trying. It is slightly chewy, and if you use nonfat ricotta cheese this can be pretty healthy. You get protein and quite a bit of calcium.

Apple Cider Biscuits

These apple cider biscuits are really, really delicious, especially warm out of the oven! To make them healthier, I used whole wheat flour and yogurt instead of the butter. I also increased the cinnamon to one teaspoon. Will definitely make again.

I made this bread for my mom's birthday and both of us loved it. It does taste like Macaroni Grille's bread, only a lot less greasy. I think I prefer this recipe to Macaroni Grille's bread. I used 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour and added 4 tbsp wheat gluten. For the herbs, I added a tbsp of basil and oregano instead of the Italian blend.
