Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2006
I increased the spices, added 2t vanilla and replaced the water with honey and used 1c brown sugar and 2c granulated. Outstanding with a bite. One batch made 1 loaf and 3 mini loaves for gift giving. Spraying the pans works well. Keep an eye on the time, 60 min for the reg loaf.

Figs and Toasted Almonds Brie

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
Delicious and a hit at the party. I could not get fresh figs, used 1/2 pkg of dried about 8-12, increased the water to 4T and the vanilla to 1t. Cooked the figs longer to soften. Next time I'll try soaking the figs overnight.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
My machine gets a lot of use but I never used it to make the dough and then bake in the oven. My bread baking is limited to the machine only. This was fabulous. I'm Italian/American and grew up eating italian bread while many were eating Wonder. This is a keeper.
