Taco Soup II

Very good this way, even better with additional can of tomatoes, beef broth instead of just water, and I have changed up the beans to whatever is on hand. Corn can be used if you have no hominy. 2 pound of ground beef is too much, can get by with only 1 pound. Makes a thick soup - add more beef broth for consistency of choice.

Hot and Sweet Cornbread

Used crushed pineapples because that is all I had. Did not roast the peppers, just diced them small. Excellent bread.

Marshmallow Fudge Bars

These were awesome. Only change I made was topped with 1/2 bag of marshmallows, not full. There isn't a need to change anything. Yum!

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

This pizza was excellent! I used my own pizza crust recipe instead of the frozen bread loaf. I also placed the cheese on the bottom of the pizza instead of the top. The flavor was fantastic!

Overnight Caramel French Toast

This really did have good flavor, but was too soggy. Good flavor, horrible texture. I will try it again, probably using a thick, dry bread, and maybe cooking it a tad longer to make sure it isn't so runny. With a few changes, it could be a 5 star rating as the flavor was great, texture was off.

Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Bars

These were really good. I never put nuts in my chocolate chip cookies. Added 1/2 cup more of chocolate chips in their place.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

My family loves this soup. I have made it several times, with minor changes each time. Sometimes I vary the bean, adding red or evey blackeye peas, more or less corn, omit green chiles, just depends on what is in the pantry. It is all good. I have even added dried cilantro when I have been out of fresh and that works great, too. Try it in your crockpot.

Sausage and Egg Casserole

I did nothing different with this recipe except add pepper. It rocks! I didn't have time to let it set overnight and it was still good. Could possible even increase eggs to 8 and still have a good flavor - and have it go just a bit further.

Beefy Hash Brown Bake

I liked the meat, potato and veggie combo - but I don't think I am sold with the french onions on top? My family did like it. I think next time maybe I will not put the onions on top, but just in the casserole, with a little more gravy and then I might rate it higher. Not a bad flavor, just didn't leave me wanting more.

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Very moist. Very good. It doesn't take as long to bake as noted. Check after about 40 minutes to make sure not to overbake. I used a 9x13 pan.

Clone of a Cinnabon

This really doesn't need another review, but they are fabulous! Agree that baking at 350 instead of 400. Also agree that lining baking sheet is good idea. I did add just a touch of milk to the frosting mixture to help it blend. Turned out wonderful.

New Red Potato Salad

This is by far my favorite potato salad recipe ever! I use it the most out of all my potato salad recipes. The only thing I do different is salt and pepper to taste.

Pizza Crust I

This is by far the best homemade pizza crust I have had. I always use beer in place of the water. I used sea salt in place of table salt. As far as a pan goes, I recommend the airbake pizza pan. I think this is what made my crust crispy on the bottom, but also think and bready.

Sweet Honey French Bread

This really was good bread. I didn't read the directions correctly and added 2 tablespoons of honey instead of 2 teaspoons. I think it made the bread that much better. It was not too sweet at all. My family loves this bread and I will continue to make it - with the extra honey.

Honey Butter

This is good on its own, but I recommend adding a little bit of cinnamon to kick it up a notch. Maybe even orange zest? I have done both and think it makes the butter taste better. I keep some made up and in the refrigerator.

Best Ever Corn Muffins

These deserve 5 stars because of the taste and the fact they are so moist. I only give them 4 because you really can't taste the corn at all. These do have a sweet taste to them and work well as a dinner muffin, but if you are looking for a corn muffin, you don't taste the corn.
