About this Cook
I grew up watching my mom make "Streganona style" meals (lots and lots of food) but always stuck to healthy ingredients. Now, at 23, I am learning to cook. This website has helped me so much. I don't quite have the confidence to just invent a dish, so following the 5* recipes has been great. My boyfriend is certainly enjoying this trial period.
My favorite things to cook
Guacamole, breakfast for dinner (french toast, egg-in-a-nest, etc)
My cooking triumphs
Getting my boyfriend to like my cooking as much as his moms!
My cooking tragedies
jumbalaya - i made it so spicy i couldn't even smell it without tearing. and i made sooo much of it, all of which went in the garbage.

African Peanut Soup
It may have been authentic, but it didn't work for my taste buds.

Banana Crumb Muffins
Delicious, but topping was tough to do. Ended up being fine the next day. I added an extra banana.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops
The breading was good and the pork chop stayed moist. However, I found that it was too greasy and didn't stay crisp. I halved the breading and it was still way too much! Will try again though...
