Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
These pancakes were very good. They took longer to cook than most, but that was good, as usually pancakes brown too quickly for me to catch up. I used whole-wheat-white flour which was great.

Rich and Creamy Roasted Eggplant Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2007
I give this four without what I added. It was very good, but needed a little something for me. I added a couple cloves of garlic, some red pepper flakes, and at the end- about a tablespoon of lemon juice to brighten it. Goos without these things, but I have my personal tastes. Thanks for something new to do with eggplant!

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
I loved the cinamon roll recipe, but the frosting was lacking. Instead, I used twice as much cream cheese and was much happier.

Mom's Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
I was very confused by my results. The pie came out extremely watery, with a lot of thin syrup and little of what you could call "filling." The pieces fell apart. So, I think perhaps the recipe is wrong. Considering the contributer says she serves it every year, I think perhaps the recipe is wrong, so maybe it should be alterred?

Orange Beef-Style Tofu Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
So yummy, but I hate carrots, so I used Broccoli. With Broccoli, it deserves 5 stars! And no need to deep-fry if you use extra-firm tofu. Yummy.
