Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Not so good. Everything just seemed to be mush on our plates. Not appetizing!

I had to read and reread these directions many times. I was very confused about cutting all the strawberries or leaving some whole. I put this topping over lemon poppy seed pancakes. Excellent! Next time I will try adding some bananas in the sauce. Strawberry Banana Topping!

Sunday Morning Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes

This was an excellent pancake, but the lemon poppy seed flavor was very mild. I did use 2 T of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of zest.

Cube Steak Parmesan

My family did not care for this meal. The cube steak was chewy and the breading came off while I was frying it in oil. But now we have a craving for chicken parmesan!

Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole

Wow! I loved this casserole! It is just like I remembered when my mom used to make it during lent. I made it exactly like written, but I added slices of Velveeta cheese to the casserole. This melted as it was cooked and I just stirred it before adding the bread crumbs. Yum! My whole family loved it!

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Excellent salad. We enjoyed it the 1st day, but is definitely better the next day. I would add less onion next time. I thought it over powered the other flavors.

Double Frosted Brownies

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Instead of carrots, I added a frozen bag of mixed vegetables. This was an easy way to cook and add to the chicken. The casserole was bland. My husband added Franks Hot Sauce to his meal and enjoyed it, but the rest of us said it needed more flavor.

Salisbury Steak

I read reviews and changed the recipe a little. I used 1 package of Lipton dry onion soup mix. I mixed 1 tablespoon of the dry soup mix and 1/3 cup of water in the meat mixture. I browned the patties on the stove. I mixed the remainder of the onion soup mix with 1 cup of water and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. I put the patties in a casserole dish and topped with gravy mixture. I baked in oven for 30 minutes. This was fantastic. I served with mashed potatoes. There was enough gravy for the patties and potatoes. This was very easy and quick to make.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Wow! This was excellent! My family really enjoyed the flavor of the moist chicken. I pierced the chicken with a fork before pouring the honey mustard over it. I added all the honey mustard mixture to the chicken at once over before baking it. Then I covered the chicken with foil. The chicken was moist, tender and flavorful.

Easter Breakfast Casserole

I used sausage instead of bacon which was very good. Our family seems to like the breakfast casseroles with the bread better than the hash browns. The hash browns gave it a different texture with the eggs.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

We love hot spicy things, but the rub on this roast made the ends uneatable. The gravy I made from the roast was also very spicy. This was not a wow meal. I would leave out the cayenne pepper next time or look for a new rub.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Great chicken! It was moist and easy to prepare. I cut up the chicken breast into 3" squares. It cooked up fast and it was easy to manage in the frying pan. This size also made it easy to serve. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Maybe a little more healthy?

Salsa Chicken

Wow! This was easy and delicious. I coated both sides well with taco seasoning. I used hot salsa for the topping. The chicken was moist and tender and full of flavor. Great for a quick dinner.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Great pie, but I think it could have been more flavorful. I did not have the veggies, so I supplemented 4 cups of Birds Eye frozen mixed vegetable. I also added 3 potatoes. It just seemed a little bland. My husband said it was good, but it needed more chicken. I'll try again.
