Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

This was fantastic! I used the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (Monari Federzoni)Even the 2 grandbabies 2-1/2 and 3 ate it! It was not over powering with vinegar at all. Just the right snap and very tender.

Uncooked Banana Pudding

The cookies tend to make it dry. I just put one layer of cookies on the bottom and up on the sides sorta like a crust. I also put in more bananas and make sure they care covered with pudding or topping. I sprinkle crushed nuts or almonds and a little shaved chocolate on the top.

Rainbow Veggie Chili

This recipe is VERY GOOD the way it is! Especially if you are looking for a more Vegan diet, this will be on top of your list to prepare from here on out. To add any kind of meat to it would ruin it and take away the taste it was meant to have. Fix it for what it is.. a VEGGIE Chili!

Cracker Candy

This is the best ever! Grandma used to make this for us kids in the 60's and it was gone in no time! For those of you that change the white sugar to brown, use the brown sugar recipe..this one is for the white sugar and it don't need altering! You want more toffee taste use the brown sugar!

Tex-Mex Chicken and Rice Bake

This is a quick and easy recipe took all of 10 minutes to throw it together and stick it in the oven. It was very good as is. I made it again and needed to double it so I changed it to do that. I added one cream of chicken soup and one can of cheddar cheese soup. Instead of 2 cups of corn, I put 1 can of corn and 1 can of black seasoned beans in. I also used the yellow seasoned rice and used more water. If you like it hot a Jalapeno pepper would give it a good kick

Corn Casserole III

Just like Grama used to make! I have made this -8 times and haven't changed a thing...except one time I thought I had cream corn and didn't. So I opened another whole Kernel can of corn, drained it and put it in the Vita-mix with a little bit of half and half I had on hand until I got the consistency of the creamed corn and it worked perfectly! Other then that, this is the best recipe ever. My kids say it taste like Fred Flemming's Corn casserole and ask for it often.

Sweet Banana Bread

This is by far the best banana bread recipe untouched ever! I always double it and put a loaf in the freezer for emergencies. I have made it several times just the way it is and a couple few times playing with the flavor. I had been making some freezer jam when my Peach jam didn't jell up, so with the bananas I added one of the jam size jars of peach. It then needed a little kick so I added a little Rum extract and that did the trick!

Cranberry Sauce III

Thee Best ever Cranberry sauce, sweet and tart in every bite! I also have the Vita-mix blender which works faster and so much better then my food processor for things like this.

Grandma's Polish Perogies

My Aunt who is gone now had the best recipe for dough, I came here and went through recipes until I found one that was close. This one is the closest and turns out no different then my Aunts. This is the keeper of all dough recipes. The trick to Perogie dough is it has to have sour cream in it to make the dough pliable and firm. For fillings I use my Aunt's recipes for that so I don't bother trying any others as hers are the best among anyone who has ever had her perogies. My rating here is just for the dough.
