Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2005
This worked out great! USed 6 cups of liquid (combo vegetable stock + water) and turkey kielbasa. Cooked about the same time and it was the perfect consistency. Thank you!

Aunt Wanda's Turkey Carcass Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2001
I liked this recipe, and I too changed it a lot. I added lots of veggies and at least twice the water. I also added barley which made it yummy. I'll definitely use this recipe when I have leftover turkey or chicken.

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2001
I love this recipe - just made it today and it was simple and easy to throw leftovers in (corn, potatoes, etc.) the only thing I had to do to change it was add a litte cornstarch to thicken the sauce because I was in a hurry and wasn't sure if it would thicken with more cooking. I HIGHLY recommend this recipe!

Irresistible Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2001
My husband made this recipe and it was the hit of thanksgiving! Everyone commented "I don't know how you got the pecans to go all the way through, they usually end up only at the top or bottom - this is definitely our new favortite pecan recipe - thanks!

Caesar Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2000
This dip was pretty good but it wasn't fabulous. It tasted better the next day. It is very rich and heavy and is somewhat overpowered by all the creamy taste. The part I liked the best was the caesar spin. Not sure I'd make it again.

Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2000
We made it for Thanksgiving, and for a family of dessert lovers it was good but it was even too sweet and rich for them. I would make it again, but I would half the sugar and corn syrup and it would still be sweet enough. I would also cover the top of the pie in the last 20 minutes of baking - the top got very brown even when it wasn't done enough inside so it was a little soupy. The next day it was excellent.
