Brownie Batter + Cupcake = The SECOND BEST Cupcake. Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
I made these last night for a work potluck. i was prepared to write that although they are good, they were a pain in the butt to make and i would probably never make again. and then i ate one this morning. OMG! i want to make them again tonight! they were perfect. i also made the PB frosting as suggested. I'm a novice cook, so almost everything is a pain in the butt to make!!

Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
I was really excited for these, but was dissapointed in the end. I didn't think that they had much taste to them. I did omit the molases, so that may have been the key ingredient. I gave 3 stars b/c although i didn't like them, my boyfriend said he would eat them again.

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
I made these for an office function, and every one was raving about them. i followed a few of the reviews advice. i mixed the biscuit and sausage first, and then added the cheese (only 8 oz of cheese). i first baked them on a cookie sheet, but they burned on the bottom, so i followed another tip to put a cooling rack on top of the sheet and then put the sausage balls on the cooling rack. I also cooked for 20 min. They turned out great!

Wasabi Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
Not as good as some of the ones i've had in restuarants, but then again, i'm not a great cook. I used paste instead powder, but ended up wisking some powder and water in the end b/c the paste wasn't enough. will make again, with practice!!!

Gazpacho Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
Great dish. I also added the cilantro and used V8, but I think next time, I will puree the onions and peppers b/c I like the taste it gives to the pasta, but don't like biting into them (not skilled enough to chop them that small).

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
I've made this recipe three times this month for different events and it's a big hit everytime! I'm not very skilled when it comes to cooking/baking, but everyone raves about this dessert and a co-worker just asked for the recipe. I just hope they don't expect more from me.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I wish i read the other reviews first. i usually do, but i was in a rush, and didn't. i would have put the breaded chicken in the fridge first, and then i would have bake in the over versus frying in the pan. it just burned. i don't know what my husband did, but he stepped in and saved the meal. i did catch a review to add the cheese at the end, so i did, thankfully. other than the issues i had, the meal was great. i would make it again with the suggestions.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Too salty! My boyfriend thought it was perfect, but i thought it was too salty. I will make again, but omit most of the salt. Overall, great recipe!
