About this Cook
I love the New Mexican style Mexican food. It is a cross between the american indian and original mexican. I love to go "home" to Albuquerque and eat at all my favorite places. I love cooking for my family.
My favorite things to cook
Mexican and American hearty foods are my best and most often requested by family and friends.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Large bring the whole family and invite your friends get togethers.
My cooking triumphs
I have been able to duplicate most family favorites from our restaurants in Alb. and make them here in Denver for my family. Like Taco Burgers, and Indian Taco's as well as the chile that goes on them.
My cooking tragedies
I have had a pressure cooker explode, covering my entire kitchen and ceiling with an incredable mess! Fortunatly no one was in the kitchen.

Country Apple Dumplings
EVERYONE I have served this too has asked for this recipe! It is an absolute comfort desert. I cut the butter in half but did the rest just as it said. This will be added as a weekly "gotta have desert tonight" recipe! SO EASY

Sweet Potato Fluff
This will be my only Sweet Potato recipe for Thanksgiving from now on. Everyone loved it. Even the coconut haters didn't mind the coconut because they said the topping was so delicious!
