Barbecued Beef Ribs for Two

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
This was a great, sweet & tangy bbq recipe. Easy to make and something I know I'll be making again. Planning on trying this on the grill and the sauce would be great on chicken wings!

General Tsao's Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
This was a pretty good recipe all in all. A bit "gingery" so next time I'll have to cut back a bit on that. I also added some crushed red pepper to the mix while in the wok...adding that extra nip. Following the sauce recpie to the T came out pretty thick...so if you like it thinner definitely add water as someone else mentioned.

Sicilian Brasciole a la Lena

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
This was a very good recipe. Had to tweak it a bit, using toothpicks to hold them together since until now I'd never heard of kitchen twine.

Cranberry Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
This was a very good recipe although it came out quite sweet, even after cutting the sugar down to 1/4 of a cup. My recommendation is if you use canned cranberries (as I did, since it's what I had on hand) don't add sugar at all. Altogether though it was a very flavorful recipe which I will make again. Another tip, rub the 'chops with seasonings before you brown them...it added a lot of flavor!

Midwestern Pork Chop Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2006
This was very good. I'd never had kohlrabi before and fully intend to use it again. I added a little spice to it before putting it in the oven and it turned out superb. The chops fell apart easily and the veggie blend (I added celery) was a great compliment.
