About this Cook
I have a few dishes that I rely on but love trying new recipes whenever I can. I think it stems from eating the same rotation of food when I was a kid. I also belong to a cooking forum where I've been able to gather some great help, great friends, and great recipes! New members are always welcome -
My favorite things to cook
Pasta dishes, chicken because of its versatility and finding new ways to liven up fresh vegetables.
My cooking triumphs
The IT'S ABOUT TIMES with yeast breads and grilling. Took me some time to get there with both, but I made it! Cooking my first Thanksgiving meal from scratch was a moment for me too.
My cooking tragedies
First time broiling chicken, it literally started on fire....yup, I am THAT cook!

Parmesan Pork Tenderloin
Good and easy....I love the nights where I have dinner served within 15 minutes of starting to prep. Served this over pasta and used the leftover pork in a chile verde. Thanks!

Pecan-Crusted Pork with Pumpkin Butter
MY OH MY! One of the better pork chop dishes I've made in quite some time. That pumpkin butter is something to behold!!!! Thanks!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ
Definitely lives up to the hype all of the other reviewers have given this. I especially liked the background flavor the coffee gives, so I would highly recommend NOT omitting that. Reduce the amount of broth if you're worried about it being too liquidy. Even better as leftovers. Thanks, Sarge!!
