Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
This is an amazing brunch dish that my whole family loves. I made it first for christmas morning and I have made it twice since. I also decided to cook the potatoes a bit first, so I prepare them in the dish and season with some seasoning salt and fresh black pepper and pop them in the oven while I prepare the rest of the ingrediants. Very yummy!!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
I have made this dish several times, my whole entire family loves it! It is a rare and blissful event when I can please five people with one dish so I didn't really want to mess with it. However, I was intrigued by the last reviewers suggestions so I thought I would give it a try and am I ever glad I did. I cooked the onions in the butter and added about one teaspoon of fresh minced garlic.....I followed the rest of the process ( I use fat free chicken broth and mayo to keep it healthy) and then added parlsey and fresh chopped chives. Instead of mixing the sauce and potatoes in a bowl, I layered potaotes and sauce and finished off with remaining sauce and paprika.....absolutely the best scalloped potatoes ever!!!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I found this recipe very easy and very flavorful. I have tried several slow cooker roast beef recipes and this by far is my family's favorite. Instead of 1 cup of water I used 2 cups of beef broth, this gives the added flavor one reviewer thought was missing. I also used baby carrots. After removing everything from slow cooker I poured juice in pot and thickened with brown gravy thickner for the gravy. Delish!!

Easy Candy Yams

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2006
This was so easy to make. I had 14 people for Thanksgiving, everyone from adults to children just loved it. I would however suggest the following changes. I fully cook fresh yams and then mash them adding the rest of the indredients and briefly putting them under the broiler until the marshmellows are lightly browned. I will make this on every holiday thanks!
