About this Cook
I am a married biological mother of 1. I have been a foster mom to 3 kids and a Legal guardian for 2 others making me a mother in name to 6 kids in all. I love being a mom. I really had hoped and dreamed to have 6-7 kids of my own but I guess my husband & I broke our mold when we had our son. He is my blessing & I love him very much!
My favorite things to cook
Enchilada Caserole, Shrimp & mushroom parmaisgn, 2 meat & Vegi spagetti, Meat Loaf, Turkey & stuffing, Pumpkin cranberry bread, banana bread, Coconut oatmeal choclate chip walnut cookies, brownies, salmon, fajitas, cakes and more
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to make my Step dad's home made Stuffing recipe I follow it every thanks giving for the past 16 years. Even though he passed away 13 years ago. :( Also I love to cook for the holidays. I love giving gift baskets of brownies & cookies to my loved ones.
My cooking triumphs
When I first married my husband I heard alot of my mom didn't cook it this way or that way. I have been able to out do her Enchiladas. & I been able to match her Coconut bars & Menudo. My husband is happy :)
My cooking tragedies
My mom has always said Clean as you go, so there is less mess int he kitchen. I guess I am 1/2 of her motto in me seeing I have everything soaking when I am done and then I was all at once
