These cookies are from the recipe titled 'Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies'. I was anxious to find out if they were as good as all the reviews so baked them the day after I found the recipe. I made the recipe as it is written and found that they are very delicious, and baked so beautifully, too. My first batch I used white chocolate chips and coconut, the second batch was semi-sweet chocolate chips and pecan halves. Both are tasty. This cookie is perfect for me because it has a slightly crunchy outside but soft and chewy on the inside.

Photography Notes: I am a fan of natural lighting and closeups. Food looks so much better when it's up close and personal. I wanted to capture the texture of the cookie as well as show off it's light brown crispiness, and the only way to do that is using the sunshine!
