About this Cook
I cannot say that my cooking is great, but I am the cleanest, most organized cook you will ever meet. I never leave a mess because I furiously clean as I go.
My favorite things to cook
Pizza sauce, pizza (from scratch, including the crust), spaghetti sauce, whole wheat bread, rolls, Turkey dinner with all the fixin's and soups.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hm, I have to think about this one...
My cooking triumphs
SalteƱas: I have successfully made the most difficult Bolivian food item there is. Long process. Tasty results.
My cooking tragedies
My two favorite tragedies: 1. First time using cayenne pepper I put in 1/4 c. instead of 1/4 teaspoon. No one could eat it. 2. I placed a glass baking dish, full of au gratin potatoes, on top of the stove while the oven preheated. Suddenly I hear a something like a gun shot, ran into the kitchen and discovered that I turned the burner on HIGH instead of the oven and the baking dish exploded all over. Yeah, not my proudest moment.

Zucchini Brownies
I have made these several times. the original recipe is a five star recipe. I have also substituted applesauce for the oil or use coconut oil (my personal favorite) and still loved them.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
Great soup! I also threw in uncooked chicken and shredded it the last hour. Black beans are a must, too.

Chocolate Sauce
Great recipe! I'm giving it five stars because of ease, cost and taste. I used half milk and water for a richer flavor. I won't be buying from the store again. There is no need to when this tastes much better and it's cheap.
