About this Cook
Cooking really had to court me to win me over, but now he's got me for good!
My favorite things to cook
Meals that keep on giving. For example, I like to start with Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style (from this site) and use leftovers for Arti-Cheesy Chicken (from this site) and then use the carcass and little bits of meat for Chicken Noodle Soup. Yum!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well, I liked my dad's bbq chicken and my mom's gazpacho (sp?) soup, but there aren't really any family traditions with regards to cooking per se.
My cooking triumphs
Organizing what I'm going to cook for 2 week chunks and having most of it turn out deelish! An impromptu gathering at my house, where I managed to feed 6 extra mouths and get compliments on my cooking!
My cooking tragedies
Pans I've ruined by putting them back on a hot burner. Do not try this at home!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff II
Delicious with a few modifications...add fresh mushrooms, onion soup packet, beef broth and at least double the sour cream.

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes
These are so yummy! I will probably cut down/out the salt next time, but I rounded 4 1/2 stars up to 5 for this easy, tasty recipe.

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices
Holy Hades, That was too hot for me...I did use Hot Hungarian Paprika at the suggested amount...I'll probably just buy a rub next time. It was great learning how to blacken fish, though.
