Grilled Chicken with Rosemary and Bacon

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
Pretty good but the rosemary was pretty overpowering where the sprig was attached. Think I might try one reviewer's suggestion where they made tin foil bundles so that it is scattered throughout the bundle instead of tied to one location. Good flavor though.

Chocolate Chunk-Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
This was really good. I followed the recipe except cutting it in half and using an 8x8 pan since it is only me and my husband. The only problem I had was the choc. chips sank to the bottom so next time I would try mini choc chips and maybe some more cinnamon in the middle layer but otherwise this was delicious! Reminded me of choc. chip muffins we used to get from this little family owned bakery in Rochester, NY!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
This really is a great recipe. I just tried a similar recipe out of the Death By Chocolate cookbook (that has this most amazing white chocolate cheesecake...) but I was so disappointed with the cookies from DBC. This recipes is BY FAR much yummier! Everyone who tries them when I make them raves and asks for the recipe.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
I have tried other recipes in the past for pretzels and these really are the BEST I have found! My husband even liked them and he isn't a big fan of breads/rolls or anything made from them. I cut the recipe and only made 4, and I brushed them with butter. Should have tried cinnamon and sugar... next time :)

Peanut Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
This is really good. I wasn't sure about the chopped peanuts on top since I am not a big nut person but chopping them small and mixing them with the cake mix crumb turned out really good. I agree with another reviewer though that it didn't seem chocolately enough so tomorrow I am going to make up a chocolate glaze and try that on half. My husband's work has a bake-off using a bake good with peanuts so this would be perfect!

Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
This was great! Very good taste and it rose and cooked up beautiful! I took reviewers advice and used brown sugar instead of white for the filling and doubled the filling (wish I tripled it) The taste was great though and I am looking forward to trying it for french toast like other people suggested. Thanks for a great recipe!

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
These were pretty good. They sort of tasted like box brownies. I followed the recipe and maybe they weren't sweet enough for me. I tend to like iced brownies so that could have been it. May try again with adding the extra cocoa powder suggested. I like the Best Brownie better, which is actually a Hershey recipe (go check out Hershey.com for the exact recipe, she modified the icing).

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
These are word for word from Hershey's but if they hadn't posted here I wouldn't have found it. They are great! Don't overbake! The frosting, a lot of people said they had trouble with, check out hershey's website... corn syrup and a little milk were added for spredding consistency and the frosting really made it delish! Highly recommend!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
I doubled the PB in this recipe and still didn't think there was much PB flavor or any flavor at all. I much prefer the Chocolate PB Cup Cookie or PB Cup Cookie from this site if your looking for Choc/PB combo. They did stay soft and chewy, they formed perfectly round cookies (after fridging/rolling dough) and did not flatten but we just didn't think they had much taste. Worth a shot.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
These were very good... a little plain by themselves but a good taste... and very good with butter or as I followed from one reviewer brushing it with garlic/butter/oregano... I need to try them again as mine slightly flattened out... but overall they were very good.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
This was not very good or traditional. I grew up on homemade sauce and this leaves alot to be desired from a traditional "Italian" sauce. I also agree with several reviewers that the meatballs tasted more like a hamburger then meatballs. We ate it but didn't really like... oh well, win some lose some. Everyone has their own tastes...

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
These were great. Liked them about equally to another recipe from here, the Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies. Next time I think I would make them smaller though to make sure they cook evenly and in the middle, so about 1/8 c in size. Like all of my cookie doughs I put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours so I could easily handle and roll into balls (get nice round cookies that way and everyone wonders how you get them so perfect :p) Will make again. Thanks for a good recipe!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This is a great frosting but it did have a very strong cream cheese taste and I tend to like frostings more sweet. I had halved the recipe b/c I only made one round cake, after mixing and taste tasting added another cup of powdered sugar to sweeten it up... but very good recipe all the same... just depends on what you like! I hate using the store bought icings/cake mixes b/c of all the they use in them so this was a nice find. I used this with Dark Chocolate Cake I and it turned out well. Lots of compliments. Thanks for the good recipe.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This is a good cake recipe. Not too chocolately... a good base for any cake/cupcake. I hate using store bought mixes b/c of what they use in them so this was a nice find. Used Cream Cheese Frosting II and it turned out very good. Lots of compliments. Thanks for the good recipe.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This was good. Alot of work but the results looked nice and tasted good. I used the Dark Chocolate Cake I and Cream Cheese Frosting II recipes for the cake and icing. I followed many reviewers suggestions and 1. cut back on the amount of icing used (I agree if you use to much it gets too soggy... hit a few spots where there had been to much icing), 2. refrigerated overnight before forming into balls, 3.freezing balls for approx. 2 hours before dipping in chocolate (choc. chips + shortening, liked the idea of coffee mug and microwave... cut down on mess and time) Will have to try with a chocolate icing and do a mix of white and milk chocolate as coatings. Thanks for the good recipe.

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
Excellant cookies! So much better then the recipe off the Reese's PB chip package. These cookies keep their shape and don't flatten out vs. the recipe from the package. Definately would make it again!!!

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
This is by far the best sugar cookie recipe I have ever made/tasted! I recommend leaving dough in the fridge for some time though, it makes it easier to work with. Otherwise these are GREAT
