Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
these cookies were moist and delicious! after zesting the orange, i squeezed the majority of the juice into the dough. what a great flavor combination. normally i hate citrus in baking, but my whole family loved these cookies.

Pumpkin Walnut Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
super good! i melted 1 stick of butter to put on top and i ended up with powdery cake mix still on top. i'm not sure how to eliminate that because i tried more butter. it is delicious anyway, so it still gets 5 stars.

Oat Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
i love these muffins, i started making them when i was doing weight watchers, i subbed splenda instead of brown sugar to cut calories and i always added either diced, peeled apples to them or mashed bananas for added nutrition and flavor. also cinnamon is a must. they always turned out delicious and moist for me. this is a really great healthy base muffin recipe.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
easy and tasty. i did add extra splenda, it wasn't quite sweet enough. i also added cinnamon and nutmeg. i don't think you should eat rice pudding without them. the consistency was perfect.

Buttermilk Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
this recipe is an okay place to start but on its own the muffins are pretty bland. i recommend adding bananas and nuts, or apples and cinnamon, probably a bit more brown sugar too. nothing special on their own, but a nice base for making muffins.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
these are sooooo good! i even made a healthy version using 1/2 whole wheat flour, light promise, and both regular and brown sugar splenda for in the muffin and the topping. they turned out moist, fluffy, and delicious. one suggestion to definitely use is a little cinnamon in the batter. it rounds out the flavor.

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
They were a little bland and really crumbly. They definitely weren't good enough to get past the sand like texture.

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Delicious, but hard as rocks. I don't know if that was my fault or the recipe. Either way they were eaten up.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I made two batches and both turned out like taffy instead of brittle. Also, it kept boiling over constantly in my microwave, it was super messy. Towards the end of microwaving I had to open the microwave door every 10 seconds or so to stop the boiling over. I still give it a four, because I'm sure if I could tweek the cooking time a bit, it would be really good and easy.

Cheesy Zucchini Bites

I took these to a New Year's party last night and everyone loved them, even the non-veggie people enjoyed them. The only change I made was using reduced fat tomato basil feta cheese.

Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
Yum! Used lean ground turkey, and just browned it. It was super easy and fast, kind of like a gyro taco. You have to serve it w/ tzatziki sauce, whatever recipe you like(I used Yia Yia's on the site). My fiance who NEVER likes to eat leftovers ate it for lunch and dinner the next day.
