White Wine and Garlic Dream Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
Served this with wild mushroom flavored linguine. I did not use the lemon. This turned out delicious, but it was more runny than creamy. Also, I will cut back on the shallots next time, because they dominated the make up of this sauce. I will probably try this again. Good with French bread.

Sherry Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
This was a very good recipe! I used chicken thighs because they were what I had. I also followed some of the suggestions from other reviews, and added mushrooms and garlic powder to the sauce, which worked well. I also cooked it for about 40-45 minutes in the oven. My only complaints are that a 9x13 pan is definitely too big, at least for the size of the chicken pieces I was using, and that the sauce was a bit liquid-y when I removed it from the oven. I served it with egg noodles and veggies and used all of the extra sauce for the leftovers. My family loved this and I will definitely be making this recipe again.

Fragrant Citrus Steamed Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
The smell was good, but after cooking it the minimum suggested amount of time, it was slightly tough, and didn't have much of a citrus or spice taste. Also, the water all boiled away, leaving me with a mess of burned spices at the bottom of the pot. I would definitely watch this more closely next time, and find some type of sauce or marinade for it.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Delicious! If I had the time, I probably would have marinated this longer because I sadly could barely taste the marinade. I made it on an indoor grill, and it still turned out really well! Also, I made it with turkey bacon, which still worked great.

Jay's A.1.® One Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
Pretty good. The flavor was a little bland so I added some salt and pepper after cooking, and sprinkled some more mozzarella on top. Definitely not the right structure for burgers, so I ate it more as a mini meatloaf. All in all, I'd make it again.

These were delicious! Even with a little too much pepper, they were wonderful.

Veal Mozzarella

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I didn't have the veal so I used chicken. When trying to make the sauce, it was way too thick, so I had to add more sherry to try and make it more of a sauce than an odd crust. The problem was, once the meal was done and on my plate, the sherry was too much. Overall, with less sauce, this recipe could be a good one.

Atomic Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I omitted the celery due to taste. When I was eating, I found it too be a bit too cold for my tastes, and also thought it needed a little something. I added some shredded cheddar cheese and warmed it up in the microwave. A yummy, healthy lunch.

Scrumptious Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I loved this recipe so much, I had to make it for my family when I went home to visit! I made it in a smaller dish so that the chicken was completely covered by the soup and the cheese.

Crescent-Topped Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
This recipe came out pretty well. It's not anything like traditional shepherd's pie, but it's pretty delicious in its own right. Next time, I'll probably add more mushrooms and maybe more vegetables, but that's just my own preference.
