About this Cook
I'm a gamer! My husband and I have been cooking for a while and are always learning new things. We have some favorite dishes that we make weekly which we love and are always looking to expand in our cooking abilities!
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to grill. It's easy and it tastes sooo good! We grill alot of chicken and steak, and we have some chicken dishes we love to bake in the oven as well.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make fried chicken recently with some oil in a pan. The chicken wasn't dry enough and water and oil don't mix! They got really burnt once in the oil because I couldn't get close enough to the oil to turn them over. LOL.

Cider Vinegar Chicken
I absolutely loved this dish! The chicken breasts we used were frozen and re-thawed and the chicken STILL was so moist all the way through. I didn't think the vinegar was at all overpowering.. Can't wait to make this again with potatoes in the vinegar as well.

Carol's Chicken Salad
I love this recipe! All I did was add a little bit of horseradish and stone ground mustard for a kick and it turned out great! I didn't have grapes around but I would have added those or apples too!

Sour Cream Burgers
I scaled back the french onion mix by half, and I added a small boiler onion, finely chopped, it turned out great! Also add some worcestershire if you have it on hand, it really makes it yummy! Great recipe, never would have thought to add sour cream on my own, but it's perfect!
