Chicken Tikka Masala
This recipe has received nearly 1500 reviews, averaging out to 4.5 stars, and is on it's way to 2000. They got something right. First time I made this, half the chicken never made it to the sauce. It came off the grill, and upon sampling was devoured. At the grill. This recipe is great. The sauce has wonderful flavor. I have Garam Masala, but opted to stick with the recipe. Sure you can cut up some chicken and put it directly in the sauce, but the effort made to grill is a payoff your mouth will thank you for.
Reviews suggesting this recipe is "unusable as it is" are a bit heavy handed, and should be taken with a "grain of salt", because that seems to be the main problem. Any good cook knows their taste, and adds salt accordingly.
Note: Cayenne can be used in the sauce if you just want the "heat". I love Jalapeno, and sauteed in butter...? Nom! Adds great flavor to the dish.
