Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2007
Unwrapped the candies and froze over night. Made the dough and put it in the fridge for about an hour first so that it was firm and rolled easy. Used mini cupcake wrappers placed on a cookie sheet. Easy and quick and everyone loved them.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
This was the best turkey, moist and perfect and it was just the cheap frozen one. The difference is the broth, the turkey sits in a steam bath! It was a 20 pound bird, stuffed and only 4 T of butter under skin. I also basted it every 90 mins.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
These are the best mashed potatoes. I have always made them this way but this was the first time putting them in the crockpot. I too used the cloth under the lid and had to turn to crock down to warm. Everyone was truly amazed how good they were. I know it was because they were hot, and stayed hot for seconds. I only added about 4 T of butter, used FF sour cream and FF cream cheese and they were perfect.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2007
These have turned into my go to cookie. You can whip together a batch and through them in the oven in no time. They come out perfect everytime and they are my husband and kids favorite. I have added nuts, and usually cook them a little longer. I use a small ice cream scoop and press them down just a bit. Thank you.

Cioppino

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
Wonderful! Made this for Christmas Eve, used homeade chicken broth, Alaskan King Crab legs, New Zealand mussells, clams, scallops, shrimp, extra garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook soup for 3 hours and then turned it off. When we were ready for dinner brought it back to a boil and added Seafood in layers. Added a white fish and the end and will leave that out next time. (Broke apart and wasnt very fresh tasting) I was shocked that my 11 and 7 year olds went back for seconds and thirds. Thank you for our new Christmas Eve tradition!!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
Very nice flavor. I used smoke flavor bacon. If you want the filling a little creamer I would use cream cheese in place of the pepper jack. Had to finish at 500 degrees for about 15 mins to brown up the bacon.
