Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This recipe is so good, everyone that has tried them loves them. The recipe is great as is, but for the second batch I added a little vanilla extract to the egg white mix and it was also really great. Thanks so much for sharing!

Almond Apricot Bars

good flavor but very bad presentation. I cut them to serve and none of the bars held together. I was very careful and followed directions to a T.

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
I made this ham for my first holiday (Easter) at my new home, my family all loved it! Basting it every 15 min was a pain but it was SO worth it! I will NEVER purchase another honey baked ham again! Ha my husband was kind of fussy when we ended up with no left overs :) Thanks so much!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This is SO good! I followed the directions pretty close, I did however use 4 lg baking potatoes, then just covered the potatoes, onion, & ham with water. I didn't have celery so I just skipped that part. Also I used my leftover ham from Thanksgiving. Then I used 10 tbs of unsalted butter, 10 tbs flour & 3 cups of milk. I'm not big into measuring & that is why I made the changes. I also used Koaher salt & fresh cracked pepper. when it wastine to serve, I topped each persons bowl w shredded cheddar, fresh bacon bits & fresh chopped green onions. We ate ours with toasted garlic bread. Thank you so much for sharing! Like I said, insure it is delicious theway you make it but I loved my way do much I'm not sure I'll ever change now :)

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
This is very yummy but if you really want great corned beef and cabbage use a little more than half beer instead of all water. I use 4 12oz cans of Budweiser and the rest water. It makes it so much more tasty and tender!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
Always goes fast at thanksgiving. I gave this 5 stars because it is good the way it is but its a great base recipe, I have added diced tomatoes and green chillies once, and sauteed onion another time.

Wonderful flavor, I just can't seem to get the hang of making breads! Water is too hot, water is too cold, takes forever to rise...you name it I did it ha. When I get the hang of they will be much prettier. Only problem was time. Be sure you set plenty of time aside to make these yummy treats

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
very good recipe, I boiled my ribs for about 15 minutes- put them in a pan lined with foil & poured the marinade over the ribs & topped with sliced onion. Covered it with foil & baked at 300 for 2 hrs. After they were done in the oven I let them rest covered for about 30 min then tossed them on the grill topped with a little regular bottled bbq sauce and let them go 7-10 min. They were WONDERFUL! much better than the batch I tossed into my crock pot. It took a little more work but they fell right off the bone. Def a superbowl favorite this year! I added a few things to my taste (garlic, fresh ground black pepper, etc) but it stands strong. I was concerned it would be far too sweet from testing the marinade alone but I'm SO glad I tried it. THANKS for sharing & thanks for all the other helpful comments!

Cranberry Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
I give the original recipe a 4, but I made a few changes that my family personally liked so its a 5! :) I used 3/4 the amount of sugar, and added vanilla and the juice of half an orange. I doubled the original recipe and it did great! This is such a wodnderful addition to my holiday cooking, thanks so much for sharing!

This pasta salad is SO GOOD! Even my husband likes it, and he picky. The salad is good if you follow the directions but I really like a lot of flavor so I added a little move olive oil & vinegar, extra tomatoes & bell pepper...I might add a little red onion the next time I make it. Probably next week!! :) It is better the second and third day! Makes a great fast lunch! THANKS SO MUCH!!! ~Jill
