French Bread
I followed the recipe and mixed all together in my Bosch. I put in 5 cups of flour expecting to add the last cup gradually. I had a big, dry mess. I added a little more water and turned on my mixer, figuring it could beat it in to shape. I mixed it on the highest settings for nearly 10 minutes. It seemed moist enough, just a bit clumpy. Anyway, at that point it looked questionable but worth a try. It rose well and my loaves looked nice. I had a line to taste it but I was still a little concerned. Well, it was fantastic! I could have eaten a full loaf!! Next time, I'll add more salt and will put in 4 cups of flour then add more gradually. (Way to go Bosch! My old Kitchen Aid could never have pulled together this particular job.)

Hot Cross Buns I
I tried this recipe to take to an Easter party and I'm sorry I did. The recipe was easy to make. I made one recipe with raisins and one without because it was a children's party and I figured some would rather have no raisins. The raisin rolls were dry and didn't rise as well but I attribute that to a bit too much flour. The others came out very pretty. The taste was just not what I was hoping for. They are nearly tasteless. I even doubled the cinnamon and added some nutmeg per other reviews. I couldn't believe it. I even went to the store to buy cream cheese to make a more flavorful frosting and put thick crosses on them to try to make them more appealing. They are edible but I will not make this recipe again.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
This is the absolute best yet. I've tried for years to find a really good recipe and this is it. I didn't use all the milk, actually probably only 3/4 c. so I'd recommend starting out with less and then adding as needed. I used butter/Crisco mix. A definite keeper.
