Baked Sweet Potatoes with Ginger and Honey

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
With sugar conscious people at the table I reduced the honey to about 3 Tbsp. The result was a much more savory dish. Agree about fresh ginger- makes a huge difference. We did not find the cardamom to be too strong. With no walnut oil on hand (is it just me?) I used veggie oil and a little water. Also used a baking dash to bake it, and covered for the second 20 min. It really steamed and softened the potatoes. Great recipe! Will make this over and over!

Pasta Primavera with Smoked Gouda

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
I left out the chicken broth. There was enough water/fluid in the veggies - I as afraid it would be too soupy. I sprinkled in a little flour to thicken the broth. Excellent and healthy, we will feast on this for days.

I have been making a very similar recipe for years. It calls for 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper, 1 tsp oregano and 2 tsp basil. With the addition of the herbs, this is better than any restaurant version I have had, but be mindful of the calories! Use whole grain pasta to off set.
